The nose is fresh, intense, tight and offers energy and a tense/stretched side. There are notes of crushed blueberry, crunchy plum and a hint of mocha combined with hints of star anise, Cuben pepper and a hint of toast. The palate is nicely mineral and offers freshness, nice sour fruit, some richness, nice energy and tension. On the palate this wine expresses morello cherry, juicy plum and more slightly racy minerality combined with hints of star anise, lily, cherry blossom, hints of crushed berries and a discreet touch of grey pepper and toastiness. A touch of sense of place (local biotop) / local grove. An imperceptible hint of coffee in the background/persistence.
