La Fortezza – 2023 Sannio, Fiano

The nose is fruity and offers brightness, minerality, a certain freshness, a finely velvety side, as well as a lovely, delicate, fresh and airy spiciness. We find notes of fresh mirabelle plum and fresh kumquat, associated with fine touches of sweet spices, a hint of medlar, as well as fine, almost floral hints. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a fresh frame, suavity, a certain gourmandise, lovely sapidity, as well as a fine hint of good bitterness. We find notes of quenette, lychee, pulpy vine peach and small notes of kumquat, combined with touches of lilac, as well as a hint of medlar. Good length. A subtle hint, finely sappy in the background. A certain delicacy and suppleness. Fine crystalline side in the background.
