A lovely fresh, elegant nose, which offers a lovely controlled richness and depth. It expresses notes of fairly ripe wild blackberry, fairly ripe small black fruits and more slightly – wild strawberry associated with touches of noble varietal, fine hints of almost torrefaction. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, balanced and offers a fresh/tangy structure, good definition, accuracy, tension, lovely energy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet and more slightly – small, fairly ripe/juicy red fruits, as well as fine hints of racy minerality, roast as well as hints of cherry blossom, blond tobacco. fresh and with a subtle almost infusion/sap hint. Good length, the tannins are fresh, sappy and sapid. A nice mid-palate. Nice freshness and minerality. Nice density in freshness and balance.
