The nose is elegant, fruity, beautifully aromatic and flowery. It reveals notes of fresh/fleshy blackberry, flowers (iris, cornflower) and small notes of ripe/fresh cassis associated with fine touches of liquorice, cocoa bean, discreet hints of toasted, oak as well as a very discreet hint of graphite and cardamom. The palate is fresh, fruity, elegant, precise, well-built and offers a beautiful definition, an acidulous frame, straightness, tension as well as gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh Boysen berry, fresh/crunchy cassis and small notes of fresh flowers associated with fine touches of red fruits,graphite, dark chocolate, toasted, tea as well as an imperceptible varietal hints (in the background). Tannins are elegant, structuring and well-built. Good length. A very discreet chew on the finish.
