The nose offers fruit, good definition and a fine, airy, taut grain. There are notes of pulpy cassis, fleshy red cherry and small notes of violet, associated with touches of nutmeg, as well as fine hints of violet and fresh lily. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers minerality, a juicy frame, good definition, a certain gourmandise, concentration, a little elegant austerity, a certain freshness and aromatic depth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, concentrated blackberry and small notes of pulpy raspberry, combined with touches of small red fruits, discreet varietal hints, cherry pits, racy minerality/fresh gravel, as well as a fine hint of cardamom and black tea. The tannins are fresh, sappy and finely mellow. Good work on the midpalate.
