La Croix de Rambeau 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

La Croix de Rambeau 2022 – Lussac Saint-Emilion

The nose is delicate and offers accuracy and precision. It expresses subtle floral notes of violet and cornflower, touches of licorice, fresh peppermint, thyme, as well as notes of vanilla, toast and chocolate in the background. There is also a lot of fruit: the wine offers aromas of ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry, quetsche plum, blueberry and wild strawberry with a touch of red cherry jam in the background. On the palate, the wine has fine tannins, grippy on the finish, but enveloped in an ample and round fruity substance. It expresses notes of black plum, blackcurrant, morello cherry, crushed strawberry and roasted cherry, accompanied by touches of mint chocolate, cinnamon and vanilla (in the background), blueberry and dried violet. Good structure and length on the palate with a hint of bitterness and medium acidity.
