La Croix de Montlabert 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

La Croix de Montlabert 2024 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, frank, finely creamy and beautifully floral. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, small fleshy/dense black fruits and small notes of zan, associated with touches of juicy-roasted cherry, as well as fine hints of cornflower, blue plum and blond tobacco. The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, supple, it offers a certain gourmandise, brilliance and lovely definition. It also presents a spherical side in the substance and a certain delicacy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/brilliant cassis, fairly ripe red cherry and small notes of blue plum, combined with touches of fresh blueberry, as well as hints of fresh blond tobacco and chocolate. Good length and definition. Gourmandise. The tannins are mellow and tasty.
