La Croix Bouey de Malagar 2024 – Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is juicy, fresh and gourmand. It expresses notes of morello cherry, red cherry, raspberry, ripe strawberry and red plum, as well as a slight hint of licorice (even slightly sweet mint in the background) and a very delicate touch of chocolate. The palate is chiseled, with a good bitterness of wild cherry on the attack and juiciness of red cherry. The mid-palate is more closed, but expresses flavors of morello cherry, red plum, fresh fruit and raspberry, complemented by licorice and a touch of bitter cocoa. The tannins are fine and structured. Beautiful freshness and a salivating acidity on the persistence.
