The nose is aromatic and offers elegance, a fine power as well as a certain complexity. It reveals notes of ripe wild strawberry, dry redcurrant, small notes quite ripe blackberry associated with touches of camphor, underwood as well as hints of pepper, nutmeg, very discree hints of toasted, dry almond and an imperceptible hint of truffle. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, juiciness as well as dynamism. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh strawberry, juicy wild redcurrant, small notes of quite ripe violet plum associated with touches of blackberry, violet as well as hints of almond, cardamom, fine hints of underwood, a very discreet hint of truffle and pepper (in the background). Good length. A very fine saline hint on the finish/persistence. Tannins are precise and structuring.
