The nose is fruity and offers a certain power as well as a racy, powerful and quite fine grain. We find notes of wild blackcurrant, violet and slight notes of flowery pepper associated with touches of small wild berries as well as hints of zan and almost aromatic herbs. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, supple with energy and freshness as well as acidity with bite. We have notes of juicy and pulpy blackcurrant, small juicy and ripe blue fruits and small notes of small juicy red fruits associated with touches of toast and nutmeg. There is a subtle hint of cocoa with darkness and camphor. Tannins are mellow, and the wine has good definition with a certain depth of accuracy as well as freshness and juiciness. Good length.
