The nose is fruity and offers power, a certain racy concentration. There are hints of ripe wild strawberry, fresh/juicy blackcurrant and slightly graphite, combined with touches of flowers, ripe red berries, liquorice and toast. The palate is fruity, elegant, balanced and reveals minerality, freshness, good definition, fine crispness, freshness/acidity of the fruit and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, juicy/fresh strawberry and more lightly ripe blackcurrant combined with hints of blueberry, tonka bean, nutmeg as well as hints of graphite and caramelisation. Nicely marked by fresh/pulpy red fruit. Good length. The tannins are well handled. Nice work on the good bitter taste in the background.
