The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is gourmand, honeyed, fruity and slightly lactic, with an expressive minerality which appears as a second nose. It expresses notes of chalk, limestone, lime, lemon, green apple, candied apple, wax, hay, fresh hazelnut, as well as a touch of quince, nutmeg, apple blossom, acacia and apricot. The palate is ample, slightly more woody than the nose (we also find notes of toasted wood in the background), with a pronounced grapefruit bitterness. We also find notes of lime zest, yellow lemon, fresh green apple, candied green apple, yellow lemon zest, a touch of honey, wax and hay, as well as flowers (dried linden, acacia). The finish is mineral and tangy, persistent, with a slightly drying touch of limestone and a vibrant acidity.
