L. Tramier & Fils, Pinot Noir Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune 2023 – Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is open, juicy and fruity. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, sour red cherry, raspberry, red currants, garnet juice and raspberry coulis in the background. After aeration, we also find notes of liquorice, a very delicate hint of cocoa and toasted hazelnut, as well as a delicate herbaceous touch of blackcurrant leaf and a hint of violet. The palate offers a tangy, tannic and slightly bitter attack (on notes of cranberries). Then, it expresses flavors of sour red cherry, raspberry and garnet, associated with a herbaceous hint (rose stem, blackcurrant leaf) and a light touch of toast and gray pepper. Tannins are quite firm, grippy, but of a fairly fine grain. The acidity is lively and salivating and gives the wine freshness and dynamism. The finish is moderately persistent, with a good bitterness and the tanginess of cranberries.
