On the slopes of Epanomi, a few kilometers from the city of Thessaloniki Ktima Gerovassiliou stands since 1981. This wine is produced entirely from the Greek grape variety Malagousia, which was saved from extinction thanks to the efforts of Vangelis Gerovassiliou. This wine is one of the purest expressions of the variety, with intense aromas of citrus and stone fruit and elegant notes of lemon blossom. Partially vinified in oak barrels and aged on lees, its texture is surprisingly elegant and layered.
