There is black pepper, juicy black cherry, and a minty freshness almost like juniper berries with a touch of guarigue. The palate is fresh, bitter, and licorice. There are fine juicy hints of morello cherry, rose, and black pepper. There is also a hint of sage and strawberry tree. The tannins are present, gripping until the finish. There is good, mouth-watering acidity. The finish is on orange zest and juicy morello cherry.
