The wine reveals medium ruby garnet colour. The nose is intense, offering nuances of forest floor, spices and wet soil, a touch withered leaves and forest floor, very developed aromas. The palate is bold and still vivid. The astringent tannins do not show a sign of softening. The palate seems slightly empty, not balancing the tannins with flesh. Long, earthy finish. An old-school wine.
