The nose is aromatic, elegant and fine. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, violet, cornflower and small notes of crushed blueberry associated with small touches of crushed red fruits as well as slight hints of coffee, cocoa as well as an imperceptible hint of Bourbon vanilla and spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, slightly tight, roundness, a small suavity, a slight richness, silkiness and offers a good definition, tension, good finesse of the grain, a slight juiciness as well as gourmandise. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, crushed blueberry and crushed raspberry associated with small touches of crushed plum, cocoa, caramelization as well as an imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
