Juliet and Romeo Wines -Moschofilero 2022, Peloponnese

Juliet and Romeo Wines -Moschofilero 2022, Peloponnese

The wine has a beautiful pale, bright melon color. The first nose is intense and fruity with a note of tea as well as candied melon, orange blossom, and peach. The second nose opens with a sweet delicacy of candied and juicy fruits such as yellow peach, orange juice, sage flower, and tea. The palate is fresh, dry with acidity from the start and a very slight sparkle. There are notes of peach, apricot with a slight creaminess. There is tension, substance, and fruit. We find the tea note with a slight astringency on the finish which is salivating, fresh, and tangy. It is a beautiful gastronomic wine for pairings.
