The nose is fruity and powerful. It reveals notes of lemon zests/grapefruit zests, mandarin, rancio and candied green apple as well as a hint of flowers and a subtle hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, soft, fine, well-balanced and offers a slight straightness, fleshy as well as a fine unctuosity. In the mouth this Armagnac expresses notes of candied pear, candied apple and slight notes of candied lemon associated with a hint of candied mandarin zest, caramel, Bourbon vanilla as well as hints of cedar woody. Good length. There is an imperceptible grilled hint and cacao on the finish. Good aromatic persistence. The finish is relatively powerful.
