The colour is beautifully golden. The nose is powerful, spice, oaky and opulent. It shows nuances of sweet tropical fruits – pineapple, mango, kumquat, supported by a broad palate of spices like cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger, curcuma and curry, along with some smoky, almost animalistic notes. The palate is direct, juicy and enveloping, demonstrating weight and power of fruits and spices, without becoming heavy. The fine has a beautiful backbone of acidity and almost tannic structure. Great complexity. Long, bitter-sweet finish.
