The nose is fruity (ripe fruit), relatively powerful and offers minerality and freshness. It reveals notes of black berries, boysenberry, cassis and fine touches of black fruit jam associated with small notes of strawberry, touches of liquorice, sweet spices as well as slight notes of violet, a hint of zan and a touch of cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well defined and offers suavity, minerality, a good definition, tension, a racy minerality (terroir) and a good matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe fruit, fresh fruit, blackberry, cassis, strawberry and small wild fruits combined with touches of licorice / zan, violets as well as discreet touches of blueberry and hints of oak. Tannins are firm, straight and slightly younge / slightly dry. There are notes of wood, dark chocolate and discreet touches of sweet spices on the finish.
