The nose is fruity, elegant, relatively powerful and offers a certain finesse. It reveals notes of rocky minerality, blackberry, cassis and small black berries combined with a discreet touch of spice, garrigue, a discrete hint of salinity as well as a hint of chocolate and wood. The palate is fresh, well-balanced and offers lots of minerality, a good structure, fresh fruits and a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, wild berries and fine touches of boysenberry associated with discreet touches of red fruit, a fine hint of blueberry, very fine notes of sweet spices as well as discreet hints of licorice. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length and good persistence with notes of wood as well as fine grilled notes.
