The nose is relatively aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of brioche, ripe citrus and quince associated with hints of yellow fruit / mirabelle plum, fleshy Williams pear, beeswax and a touch of almond. The wine needs to be decanted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, suave, soft and offers fat, tension, a fine straightness and an acid frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of beeswax, quince and small notes of small yellow fruits / mirabelle associated with touches of pear / peach as well as a subtle touch of mandarin / lemon and almond. Good length and persistence.
