The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose offers an expressive aromatic, precision and a certain concentration. It expresses the aromas of bright red fruits (redcurrants, crunchy strawberry, raspberry, red cherry), a touch of crushed blueberry, as well as gray pepper, dried mint leaf, violet and blackcurrant bud in the background. After aeration, we also find a sweet hint of iris and a delicate limestone minerality. The palate seems closed, with a tangy attack on notes of cranberries, raspberry, tangy bigarreau cherry and blackcurrant, and tight, slightly grippy tannins. We also find touches of violet, gray pepper, blackcurrant leaf and dried mint. The finish expresses a sharp acidity and slightly bitter notes of bird cherry, moderately persistent.
