Jean-Max Roger – La Côté de Bué 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of nectarine, citrus and small notes of quenette associated with fine hints of zests and racy minerality/flint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, a small acidulous, a mineral frame, precision, a good juiciness, a fine tension, a small fat as well as roundness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, crushed/ripe nectarine and small notes of quenette, mandarine associated with small touches of pineapple, a hint of bee wax and an imperceptible hint of almond (in the background).
