Jean Faure La Réserve 2022 – Saint-Émilion

The nose is fruity and offers a peppery side and a small power. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed wild strawberry and small notes of dried blueberry associated with an almost fig-like hint of blond tobacco and a subtle vanilla touch. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, freshness, suppleness as well as a beautiful juiciness and freshness of the fruit. There are notes of juicy blackcurrant, quite ripe blackberry as well as touches of camphor associated with crushed berries and a hint of strawberry. Floral nuances mingle with an almost bergamot note and a discreet touch of vanilla essence. Tannins offer a fine firmness.
