Jean Durup Père et Fils, L’Eglantière 2023 – Petit Chablis

The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The nose is airy, lemony, on freshness and lightness. It expresses notes of tangy green fruits (green apple, green pear), yellow lemon, lemon zest and green plum, associated with a salty mineral and floral touch (acacia). The palate is fresh, chiselled and straight, especially lemony. It expresses notes of green apple, lemon zest, green plum, lemon juice and acacia. The mid-palate offers a certain roundness of white peach, and in the finish, we feel a delicate bitterness and salinity. The finish is moderately persistent, with lively acidity.
