Jean-Baptiste Fau – Sur un fil 2021 – Limoux

Jean-Baptiste Fau – Sur un fil 2021 – Limoux

The nose is fresh, aromatic, elegant and offers fullness, a good definition as well as a small intensity. It reveals notes of quince, dried zest and small notes sense of place (local biotop) associated with fine almost sage touches as well as fine smoky and varietal hints. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers a slight pulpiness, gourmandise, a tangy structure, energy, aromatic purity as well as a beautiful delicacy in its touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of quince, ripe/juicy yellow peach and small notes of small yellow fruits associated with an almost roasted pineapple touch (very discreet) as well as a hint of ripe almond and a subtle hint of local scrubland. A fine tannic side on the finish/persistence. A fine mellowness. Gourmandise and a fine iodized side in the background.
