Beautiful, elegant and precise nose which offers a certain complexity as well as a discreet spicy and flinty side. It reveals notes of pulpy apple, crushed peach and small notes spices associated with a toasted touch, quince, fine hints of smoke, zest as well as a discreet almost sage hint, sense of place (local biotop) in the background and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is nicely structured, fruity, gourmand, precise and offers an acidulous frame, tension, minerality, energy, a nice framed side as well as a beautiful mellowness and juicy/pulpy fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy apple, bright vine peach and small notes quince associated with lemony touches, hints of butter, toasted almond as well as a subtle almost lychee hint (in background) and toasted. A tannic character in the background. A subtle hint of dried almond and almost muscat. Good length. A very discreet varietal hint / sense of place (local biotop) in the background.
