Jacques Charlet – Climat Champ de Cour 2014 – Moulin-à-Vent

Jacques Charlet – Climat Champ de Cour 2014 – Moulin-à-Vent

The nose is fruity and slight. It reveals notes of cassis, small berries and blackberry associated with slight notes of red fruits as well as a discreet note of toasted/sweet spices and cacao. The palate is fruity, mineral, relatively silky and offers a beautiful acid/fresh frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy Quetsche plum and slight notes of strawberry, blackberry and black cherry associated with a discreet hint of toasted oak/caramelized oak as well as a discreet hint of liquorice. Good length. The persistence is suave, gourmand and offers a very slight hint of cacao.
