The nose is fresh and reveals a fine power, fruit and toastiness. There are notes of pulpy kumquat, crushed cape gooseberry and more lightly flat peach combined with a fine touch of apricot, fresh hazelnuts and a discreet hint of varietal/white flowers and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, juiciness, volume, a fine unctuousness and an acidic backbone. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy, crushed apple, nectarine and more slightly pulpy physalis combined with touches of tangerine, brioche, nutmeg, sweet spices as well as a discreet hint of honeysuckle/acacia and a very discreet hint of caramelisation (in the background). Nice freshness and minerality. Almost a discrete tannic influence on the finish/persistence.
