J. Moreau & Fils Hommage à Mademoiselle Victoire 2022 – Chablis

(organic) The wine has a pale lemon yellow color. The first nose offers precision and a tangy framework of citrus fruits (yellow lemon, grapefruit) and green fruits (green apple, green plum), which are completed on the second nose with notes of tangy apricot and ripe white peach. We also find a mineral touch of limestone, a hint of fresh chamomile, apple blossom and acacia. The palate is gourmand, with a fruity and juicy attack: it expresses notes of white peach, apricot, lemon, green apple, green plum, grapefruit zest, as well as wild flowers. In the finish, we find a limestone and saline mineral framework, as well as a slight bitterness. The acidity is lively and sharp, but pleasant and refreshing. Good persistence on the palate.
