The nose is fresh, fruity and offers a very fine concentration. There are notes of Mirabelle plum, quince and, more slightly, dried citrus peel, combined with hints of fresh physalis, peach blossom, as well as fine hints of racy minerality (terroir), fresh nutmeg, discreet hints of spice and a subtle toasted touch. The palate is fruity and reveals juiciness, acidity, minerality, good definition, tension and accuracy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy lemon, quince and slightly crunchy physalis combined with hints of lemon blossom, a subtle hint of dried tangerine peel as well as a discreet hint of nutmeg, fresh hazelnut and a very discreet hint of almost bee cider (in the background). Good length.
