(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is fruity, juicy, with a tangy frame and an integrated spice. It expresses notes of red cherry, fresh red currants, raspberry and cranberries, combined with a delicate but precise spiciness (liquorice, tonka bean, grated nutmeg, white pepper), toasted (coffee, toasted hazelnut) and herbaceous (dried mint, rose stem, blackcurrant leaf) notes, as well as cocoa nibs and morello cherry in chocolate. There is also a slight sweet touch of peony. The palate offers a gourmet and roasted attack, with notes of roasted bouquet garni, toasted hazelnut and chocolate, as well as dried wild mint. The mid-palate is gourmand and fruity, with flavors of morello cherry, red cherry, crushed raspberry and blackcurrant, as well as sweet spices (liquorice, vanilla in the background, nutmeg, tonka bean) and aromatic herbs (bouquet garni, mint). The tannins are fine, slightly grippy, but savory, with a good chocolate bitterness. Good length, with a tangy cranberry frame and a salivating acidity.
