Intuition de Fleur Cardinale 2023 – Bordeaux Blanc

(45%SB, 39%Semillion, 16% Sauvignon Gris) Lovely fruity, fresh, mineral and tense nose. It reveals notes of kumquat, sweet white flowers and small notes of sweet zest associated with fine touches of grapefruit as well as discreet hints of kumquat and a subtle hint of toasted-fresh. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, fresh, elegant and offers a gastronomic side, a nice minerality, a subtle iodized hint as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy pink grapefruit, juicy/pulpy nectarine and small notes of fresh kumquat associated with touches of crushed vine peach as well as a hint of quenette and toasted-fresh. Good length. A subtle almost tannic hint in the aromatics at the end of the long/persistence.
