Innocenti 2022 – Rosso di Montalcino

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is aromatic, fruity and finely herbaceous and spicy. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, blackberry, wild strawberry and blackcurrant in the background, combined with notes of dried red cherry, white pepper, ground cumin, bay leaf, with a smoky and tangy hint of bergamot, as well as a note of roasted bouquet garni and roasted red cherry. The palate is juicy, gourmand and tangy. It expresses notes of cranberries, bigarreau cherry, raspberry, morello cherry and blackcurrant, associated with herbaceous notes, bay leaf, roasted bouquet garni, the acidity of bergamot and its slightly smoky touch. At the end of the palate, we also find a good bitterness and a touch of wild rose. Beautiful length with gourmet notes of morello cherry, toast and bitter cocoa. The acidity is lively and salivating, the tannins are fine and melted.
