Pedro Parra is an internationally renowned soil expert consulting for many great producers around the world. This is his own project, celebrating the old vines and grape varieties of the region. He makes a number of single-vineyard wines focussing on the individual terroirs. The Imaginador is his ‘villages’ wine made from several vineyards in the same region.
This has lovely savoury dark cherries and cranberries with a charcoal edge. The fruit is vibrant and juicy. It has no real tannins but a light grippiness to provide structure. This has amazing substance ripeness and depth, a fine minerality.
