The wine has a medium-intensity ruby color. The nose is gourmand, fruity, slightly roasted, but more on fresh fruit. It expresses notes of wild strawberry, juicy red cherry, fresh morello cherry, chocolate morello cherry, blackberry, and blackcurrant jam. There is also captivating and gourmand spicy and roasted notes: aromas of liquorice, vanilla, crushed cardamom, as well as toasted hazelnut, tonka bean, coffee, and dark chocolate. After aeration, the wine also expresses notes of wild mint, rosemary, and fresh rose. The palate is fresh, tight, but juicy, with a firm tannic structure and a fine, powdery tannique texture. It expresses notes of tangy red fruits (red cherry, morello cherry, raspberry, blackcurrant), combined with a touch of white pepper, licorice, cardamom, as well as cocoa, toast, coffee and dark chocolate. The menthol flavors (wild mint, rosemary) and dried rose appear on the persistence. Good length and a salivating acidity that helps balance the tannins. Precision, freshness and straightness.
