The nose is aromatic, concentrated and offers a small richness. It reveals notes of vanilla, caramelized / toasted oak, fleshy blackberry and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with fine touches of blueberry as well as a very discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a small tension as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, wild berries and small notes of cherry associated with fine touches of racy minerality, olive as well as slight hints of spices and oak. Tannins are well-built, a bit firm and very slightly tight. Good length. There is a subtle hint of cocoa bitterness on the persistence.
