The nose is fresh, racy and offers some concentration as well as a fine, racy, powerful and finely grained character. There are hints of ripe wild blackcurrant, grey pepper and slightly of Bigarreau cherry combined with hints of violet, pepper, blackberry as well as fine hints of blond tobacco and a subtle spice note. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and freshness. On the palate, juicy/sour black cherry, juicy/sour purple plum and light blueberry notes are combined with hints of roasted red berries, tart blackcurrant and hints of star anise and sweet blond tobacco. Sapid and gourmet on the finish/persistence. A fine touch of positive bitterness in the background.
