On the palate, this wine expresses notes of brilliant redcurrant, bright cherry and small notes of juicy/fresh cassis, associated with fine touches of lilac, violet as well as fine hints of tobacco, cardamom, sweet spices and discreet hints of sage and arbutus. Good length. Elegant, racy tannins. A subtle hint of good bitterness on the finish/persistence and offers an imperceptible almost blood-orange hint.
