I Dof Mati – Il Matto 2018 – Ghemme DOCG

The nose is fruity and offers a small floral side, a small concentration as well as a fine richness. It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, violet/cherry blossom and small notes of pulpy blueberry associated with fine hints of vanilla pod as well as discreet toasted hints and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a small richness, balance, an acidulous structure as well as a certain elegance. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cherry, pulpy strawberry and small notes of concentrated plum associated with touches of violet, lily as well as fine hints of crushed small red fruits, vanilla, caramelization as well as with a toasted hint. Tannins are supple, fresh and sapid. Good length and sapidity.
