The nose reveals notes of bright blackberry, small fresh blue fruits, small notes of leather associated with small touches of strawberry as well as fine hints of toasted, cornflower, nutmeg and a discreet hint of rosemary (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, minerality as well as a small tension and fullness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/Fresh cassis, fresh blackberry, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with a touch of fresh blueberry, cornflower as well as hints of dry local copse/rosemary, a discreet hint of curry and cocoa. Tannins are marked and relatively dry. A hint of cocoa and an imperceptible hint of vanilla pod on the aftertaste.
