Hyde – N°5 The Aras Cask – Burgundy 1860 Cask Finish – Single Grain Irish Whiskey

The nose reveals notes of brown sugar, hints of red plum and very ripe cherry combined with slight hints of coconut, a discreet hint of honey, spices, wood as well as an imperceptible hint of peat (in the background) and a discreet hint of rosewood. The mouth is fruity, fleshy, slightly unctuous and offers freshness and a fine juiciness. In the mouth this Whiskey expresses notes of crushed pear and slight notes of lychee, ripe red fruits combined with a discreet hint of vanilla cream as well as a slight note of caramelized brown sugar, grilled oak, an imperceptible hint of orange and a very discreet hint of chocolate. Good length.
