Huguenot, La Créole 2022 – Côte de Nuits Villages

Huguenot, La Créole 2022 – Côte de Nuits Villages

(organic) The wine has a pale ruby color. The nose is delicately perfumed and slightly spicy. We find notes of white pepper and nutmeg, associated with a smoky touch (in the background), floral (dried rose, lily), a herbaceous touch (dried mint) and a juicy fruity substance (strawberry, crushed raspberry, red currants, cranberries). The palate offers gourmandise, ripe fruit on the attack and gourmet notes of dark chocolate and candied cherry. We also find flavors of redcurrant jelly, morello cherry juice, wild strawberry and raspberry coulis, combined with notes of peony and rose, dried mint, as well as a touch of nutmeg. The tannins are velvety and powdery. Nice acidity, sapidity on the finish, which is quite persistent and gourmand – with notes of roasting (coffee) and dark chocolate.
