The nose is aromatic and offers power/intensity. The wine needs to be put in carafe. It reveals notes of dried cherry and violet associated with small notes of blackberry, wild strawberry, Sichuan pepper as well as a hint of spices and a small hint of earth. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful fresh frame, acidity (in the mid palate), minerality, a fine gourmandise, roundness, tension as well as freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry/cherry, blackberry and redcurrant candy associated with small notes of cassis, a touch of violet, zan as well as an imperceptible hint of tobacco and earth. Tannins are very slightly firm. Good length.
