The nose is fruity and offers gourmandise as well as a slight richness/concentration. It reveals notes of wild strawberry, cassis and small notes of fleshy blackberry associated with touches of Sichuan pepper, licorice, a hint of vanilla and a woody touch. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers minerality, a nice volume, a good definition, a slight tension as well as an acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh raspberry, fresh redcurrant and small notes of fleshy boysenberry associated with a touch of racy minerality, zan as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and spices. Tannins are fine and a bit chewy. Good length.
