The nose is spicy and peppery. It reveals notes of violet and small fresh black berries associated with touches of lily, fresh small red fruits as well as a hint of spices and a discreet hint of brambles. (in the background). The palate is nicely built, fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a tangy frame, tension as well as a small balsamic side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy red cherry, pepper and small notes of red berries associated with touches of brambles / varietal as well as fine hints of rose, sweet spices, a subtle hint of fresh blond tobacco and a very discreet hint of zan (in the background). A subtle chew. A wine that needs to be decanted. Presence of a subtle herbaceous hint both on the nose and in the mouth.
