The wine shows a medium ruby colour. The nose is intense, revealing nuances of red cherries and raspberries, complicated by nuances of bell pepper, a touch of pungent spices and pencil shavings. The palate offers freshness, crunchy acidity, powerful but elegant body and grippy but ripe and juicy tannins. Notes of red currants, red cherries and kirsch intertwine with herbaceous nuances of pepper and tomato leaf. A touch of bitterness on the finish. Good length.
