The HJW single-estate was the first Riesling vines planted by the estate in 1977. It’s noticeably cooler and more expressive than others. The winery spotlight this block each vintage in the limited release Riesling HJW Vineyard. The wine has a full aromatic expression as well as strident acidity, and good volume. It’s a fully complex wine that impresses not only by its taste, but also its general harmonious feeling.
